There are two categories in this race, a competitive and a non-competitive, for both skiing and snowboarding. The difference being the number of laps on Highlands Bowl. Austin Nelson and Jordan White concluded the 14 run course with a fast time of 3:08:01. The second place team of Anton Sponer and Chase Dillon were close behind with a time of 3:09:28. The Highland Ski Patrol Team, and 2011 Champions finished in third completing the course in 3:14:43.
Jordan White is an accomplished local skier and is best known as being the youngest skier to ski all of the 14ers in Colorado. Austin Nelson is a former ski racer, and in 2003 represented the U.S. in the Deaf Lympics, he is also the co-founder of the Aspen Apres Bike. Congratulations to them both, and to all of the competitors!
